This is as weird as it gets. "Protected by iContain"? WTF indeed!
They're using a boing ball on their webpage.
Is any of this legally sanctioned?

I wonder what Barry Altman is thinking about this?

Yeah guys, Barry confirmed to me that this is Mr. Bill's doing. Or as he put it "wild Bill strikes again…".
I don't know that he's real happy with this, but i don't think he's taking it too seriously.
"pipe dreams at best…let's see…."

I kinda feel sorry for him in this instance. He decides to take the risk of marketing computers with a recognizable trademark that's had some negative press in the last decade, and the guy he licenses the trademark from lets a Chinese company label appliances with the same trademark.

Now even Barry Altman has been abused by Mr. Bill.

IContain is for RTO items.  You don't make your payments, the item stops working.  That is what this is all about.  So I don't see any significant issues with C=USA Amiga line, do you?

No, I don't think it really interferes with CUSA's plans either. Its just dumb. A rent to own tv "protected by Amiga" that shuts off if you miss payments? I doubt we'll even see this technology in the US.

I wonder if "Wild" Bill would be interested in granting me the rights to use the Amiga name on a new line of Hydro-Ceramic waste disposal systems?

Apparently, if you've got the money you can license the name for about anything. Buy why...

Barry sent me a few pictures of the products he readying for introduction. They look pretty good.
