Let me quote a recent exchange that I had with another member on MorphZone.

"In terms of Dhrystone an e600 core above 1.72 GHz would outperform a 1.8 GHz PA6T core"

I want you to keep in mind that the person who posted that thinks very highly of the PA6T (the processor in the X1000).

But the hardware we're running already comes close to the above mentioned speed and future hardware could run that fast or faster.

So, for a fraction of the cost, I can get hardware that performs almost as well as the X1000 now and upgrade later to even better hardware later.

And the Natami developers have already nixed the idea of an add on card.

If you like native 68X systems so much, why not wait and get a Natami?

@Iggy
I think it's meant by one core/32bit. And the point of a combination of AmigaOne and Natami is to avoid having to use the UAE. I prefer to use one physical computer instead of two and three or more. But I am aware Natami will not be an expansion card.
Anyway, if I had a replacement for A1260PPC or rather a 4000 with CyberstormPPC but was 10-15 years ahead, I would have paid what it would be for it. And now I'll stop dreaming.

Expect the answer to your question is, the market is too small. There  is the Sam440 or 460 card, but the price is too high in my opinion.

Wow, legitimate (non-wise ass) answers. You know you've got a valid point here and I think there is a market for something like that, I'm just not sure its large enough  to justify the expense of development.
I wouldn't  mind a PPC supplemented Natami either, but the development team doesn't seem interested.
