Hey,

I am returning to the Amiga scene and have recently purchased Amiga Forever 2009 which I run on a Vista laptop!

Talk about having a fast Amiga!

First thing, is there anyway to run Amiga Forever so it runs off a hard drive as I am thinking of recycling a Celeron 800 with 512mb ram and a 80 gigabyte hard drive as an Amiga (the case looks like the old Walker case and with a boing sticker, who'd know the difference?) ..he he he

Worse case scenario is to install Windows XP and then change the logo.sys and so it boots straight up into Amiga Forever with Workbench 3.x

Anyway I thought I'd do a search for some old software I used to use and found out that black belt systems have got winimages!!!  Ah reminds me of the Amiga days of old!  Anyway was wondering if anyone uses this on a Vista operating system (64 bit), I sent them an email but never got reply.

So am hoping someone here can answer my question.   Long live the Amiga in whatever form it comes in (whether it be amiga forever, minimig or the classics).

Hey I didn't want to create a fight about a real Amiga vs emulated one :-)

Anyway does anyone here know if winimages is Vista compatible or not as I want to buy it but don't want to be stung if it doesn't work on my Amiga / Vista laptop...he he he.

Cheers!
