Aye, it's a Webkit based browser. Kindle is a terrific device for people who like to read. I got one for my father for Christmas and he just loves it. As nice as they are, they will be overshadowed by the iPad very soon. Heck, I don't even use my kindle device anymore now that the ipad app is out. A tablet it is not.
