Just a thought I had: You have the subway connected to the clockport right? Well the same port can also be used with certain soundcards, and maybe what happens is that either AHI or AmigaAmp notices that something is connected to the clockport, and it then belives that you have a soundcard connected there - with the result of trying to send the audio output to it.
