There was a OS-9 port, but it cost $600, according to the FAQ.
http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~pruyne/os9faq.html#digbytarvinPlan9 was availible for 68k (NeXT, maybe others), I don't know about the Amiga. I don't think much work has been done on it recently.
AMIX is better suited to a A2000 or A3000. One might go throught some pain trying to install it on a 1200.
