I doubt your A3000 is toast.

However, I also doubt that your Catweasel is what you think it is. :)
The Catweasel Mk2 Zorro card has an IDE port on it as it has a Buddha built-in (I use mine in my A1500 and it's great). I don't think you need to worry about the NVRAM because the A3000 should still auto-boot anyway from the Catweasel *I think*.

The Catweasel doesn't go anywhere near SCSI, though - it's just another bus: an IDE bus.

Is the Catweasel detected when you go into the Early Start-Up (hold down both mouse buttons, and go to Expansion Boards)?
