First thing to try is always to reseat the Agnus. That's the chip that deals with the Chip RAM, so if it has a dirty connection it thinks the RAM is bad.
Once you've done that you need to start looking for bad RAM chips - that's where the fun really starts!
Don't forget to earth yourself before opening the machine, of course. And make sure the power is off naturally.
