I think this is perhaps the chief mistake the Frieden guys have made - in my opinion.
I think the return would be
very valuable. Not in terms of cash, because it wouldn't make very much, but there's a lot of coders out there who can't get an AmigaOS compatible machine but are itching to get starting coding for it. The main reason there's not a great deal of OS4 programs out there is the coders are starved of hardware; give them OS4 on the classic and they can get started so when it's ready on the dedicated hardware there's much more software. Every day without any hardware is another piece of code gone unwritten.
All IMHO of course.
