Indeed... remove everything you don't need.

The Janus.library is opened by BindDrivers (make sure you have the right janus.library in the :expansion/ directory of your boot disk!).

If you suspect dodgy hardware then check the RAM - use ShowConfig or similar to see where the RAM is, and then check the dual ported RAM using a memory testing utility like one of the ones on Aminet. If the memory doesn't check out OK, there's your problem.

First thing though should always be to remove everything unnecessary, when diagnosing problems...
