There is one ISP which does not cut you off at all and has no restrictions but as you have guessed the ISP is AOL which forces the user to use their computer taking over software,

As for broadband, if that comes in your area i hope it is not those lying bastards NTL with its so called "UNLIMITED" service or should that be its "NEW LIMITED" service.

Broadband from ntl: is unlimited as in its "always on" (No need to dial).

Its changing to a LIMITED service, yes LIMITED ie heavy users get warnings and maybe kicked off service, so much for wonderfull  NTL broadband service,

NTL have been advertising that people can try and "break their cable modem" by constant downloading,

You obviously dont have a clue about telecomms so ssshhhh please.

Says you who is so quick to defend NTL without even knowing the truth

JurassicCamper i would like to know what you would define unlimited as?

I see unlimited as having no restrictions which NTL clearly now has restrictions  :-( .

Didn't you want an X86 os4 so you could download that for free as well ?

Provide proof for that statement as it clearly is not true at all, i have said i want to see a x86 version of AmigaOS and willing to pay for it,

Want me to carry on....

You claimed NTL provides UNLIMITED service i proved NTL provides LIMITED service so that proves NTL provides LIMITED service full stop, all the qualifications in the world is not going to prove NTL provides UNLIMITED service,

As for the abusers bit, what a load of bollox, thats all providers cry out "Abusers", people use what they pay for simple as that, i pay for the 600k service and i will use it 24/7 if i wish, FFS even NTL advertise the service for 24/7 use.

@jd997uk

Yeah true, all providers are going to rip people off badly in the future because they know they can and get away with it, as for downloading Rars LOL i love those rar and par files,

As for the lies from NTL customer support people http://simon.poshcoffee.com/ntl.mp3
