Why won´t a pcmcia USB 2.0 pc card work in an A1200 ?? Or does it work ???

USB 2.0 card for PCMCIA slot ... why will it or why won´t it work on an A1200 ?? Some pc network cards do work, so why not a card like this ???

Does that mean that usb transfer would be too slow ??? I don´t ask this with the intention of hooking up a 52x cdrewriter, anything slower will also be nice. Is it the USB 2.0 that is too fast or is it the card itself ??? Would a USB 1.1 card be better ???
