I used to have an A2000 for a short while a couple of years ago with a superb Magni internal genlock inside and kickstart 2.x and a 68020 card with 2 Mb. The first thing I did was to remove the genlock, add a CV64/3D card that came out of my A1200, and a Nexus scsi card with 4 Mb on it. Cool !! 6 Mb Fast Ram and a 4 Mb gfx card. Removed kickstart 3.1 of my A500+ and added it to the A2000. Ready for OS 3.9 !! Me was very very happy !! ... but that was soon to change. As Amiga4k just said, maximum 8 Mb. That meant that my gfx card was not recognized and I had 6 Mb of Fast Ram. If I removed the Nexus scsi card with 4 Mb then I had only 2 Mb of Fast Ram which was not enough to be able to use my gfx card, certainly not with OS 3.9 ... I moved the CV64/3D back to the A1200 and sold the 6 Mb A2000 ... still have that genlock somewhere in my room ...  :-)
