Orange : Actually he got it from me as he is one of my best friends

Amigator´s A4000 has got kick 3.1 and is placed inside a big Micronik tower but he has also used the original A4000 daughterboard and the Mediator 4000Di, just to make sure the problem was not caused by incompatibility of a busboard ...

Re: Cyberstorm 68060 MK II + SCSI Module problems !!

I´m talking to Amigator at the moment through Skype. There seems to be a nice evolution but not as perfect as hoped ...

The internal scsi port is now empty and the 18 Gb Quantum Atlas V hd is connected to the external scsi connector. Now the system boots perfectly !! Next problem is that the HDtoolbox on the OS3.9 Emergency Disc only wants to install 1,7 Gb of the 18 Gb ... can anybody give bright advice on this ???  :-?

Framiga : no it works at 50 Mhz.

Piru : Amigator has now done a search for the technical data of the harddisc and entered the data manually in HDtoolbox ...

Problem seems to be solved, just got a mail from Amigator.
The issue with the Fortemedia (and others too) soundcard not  working on the Mediator4000Di has got to do with installing the drivers for all cards that are plugged in. In the beginning he had the soundcard and the S3 Virge gfx card and the 8139 network card plugged in but only the soundcard´s drivers installed and it didn´t work. Now he has installed the gfx and network cards too and suddenly the soundcard seems to work. Appearantly you need to install all the drivers first before it works

Sorry, not true. The mail I got from him looks like this :

I know, it´s not English. He told that after the soundcard was installed and didn´t work he installed the gfx driver. Gfx card worked but the soundcard still didn´t work. Then he installed the network driver and the networkcard worked but suddenly the soundcard also worked ...

Appearantly the Fortemedia still didn´t work after the S3 Virge driver was installed. He had to install the 8139 driver too ...
