Unplug the CF card if you can until you resolve the screen issues. Or you can hold down both mouse buttons whilst turning on the A1200 for it to end the startup menu.
No kickstart disk is needed on the 1200 as it has kickstart ROMs, only the 1000 needs kickstart disks.
