I received a model 1010 Amiga floppy drive today. Hooked it up and it works just fine. Previously I had a 1011 Amiga drive, which also works fine. BUT, if I link the 1011 to the 1010, only the 1010 drive is seen when the Amiga (500) is turned on. If I plug each drive in seperately and power on, each works. So, what could be the problem? Is there some sort of compatibility problem I am not aware of with linking the 1011 drive to the 1010?
Funny as I just recently hooked up these two drives to my A2000! They work fine. I have two internal drives and the 1010 and 1011 daisy chained. Maybe the P/S on the A500/1200 does not power both drives properly?
