Yeah it happened, and my A3000T was very ill. I nursed her back to health but am concerned. She was getting a Flashing Yellow screen, then black and dead. I reseated all chips and she came up. Then the same thing, flashing yellow or black screen. I took it apart and removed and reseated ALL socketted chips. No go. I inspected the board and saw some corrosion! Blue corrosion around chips and viases. Hmm. When I got this Tower I removed the battery the same day! It looked like it never leaked but I think it must of leaked a little over time the acids did their deed. And this is right below the past of battery near Fatter Agnus. Well after cleaning it up I saw some traced that looked questionable. I tested a few and found one to be bad. I fixed it with Silver Conductive Pen and she fired right up! It seems to be ok but am worried about the other traces, was not able to test them all. Anything I can do to find out if she is A OK?
