Well that is a little high for a A3000 so it must of been nice and had extras. The A4000 goes for more around $400 - $500. The A3000 a little less, and with the A2000 around $50 to $100 or so. Yes they are worth more than PC's of that era!
Something to be aware of in the big box Amigas, is the NiCad battery. If it leaked it will cause major damage on the A3000/A4000, so make sure it has not leaked or was removed before buying. If it was never checked, then it most likely has leaked and caused damage. Good luck.
