The Amiga 4000 series seems to be very unstable with so may problems. I have four of them and had one die recently. My main 4000D right now is acting up again. May be due to the warmer weather too. It has a GVP 4060 running at 66MHz. Seems in the winter it runs ok but the last week I have been getting a lot of lockups to black screen too. A cold boot seems to clear it up. I reseated all the cards but nothing helps. I think it is due to over heating in the cramped 4000 case. I need to find a good way to cool this thing down.
I have a CSMKII card in my A3000T and this machine is the most stable Amiga I have ever had! The thing is simply awesome. It is built like a Tank! I think good ventilation is key with the 060 cards.
