I know it's cheap. But, since the resistor problem has been found and solved by hackers,....
I just fixed the PAL DTV I bought in Germany. The resistor bug is there at the moment, looks like bad quality control (or none at all) :-(
Without the fix the display is sometimes really unreadable... with the fix it's quite nice :-)
