I only have a few maple trees on my land, so I can't make my own.

Dont even get me started on what people from the USA call bacon.   Its stringy orrible fatty rubbish.

I think you'll have to be a bit more specific since here in the states you can get at least thirty different kinds of bacon with varying amounts of fat, meat, smoked, maple flavored, turkey, "canadian" etc.

Personally I like lean crispy bacon with a good smokey flavor.

Annoyingly I love smokey bacon however its not real anymore and just srpayed with smokey flavouring

We get a lot of our produce and stuff from the farmers markets, and smaller stores nowadays. You can get real smoked bacon in pretty much any cut you want.

In the UK bacon from back cuts is more common right? Thats pretty good stuff, I like belly cuts really crispy, and Canadian style.

There's even fat free bacon for the health conscious.  Now that's disgusting.

I'm good with the concept, but question most current implementations (which brings us back to amiga's again )

I love some of the products from usa that cant remeber brand name off, but basically bacon bits, bcaon mayo , bacon flavoured envelopes and bacon salt.

Ah, the bacon craze...the only one I really liked is bacon ranch dressing.
