what do you need pity for? youve been using pcs and macs for so long and now you have an a1200 thats great. well it did take a long time.
files smaller than 720k can be written to a pc floppy and open with your 1200 using crossdos. you do that by opening your system drawer, opening the storage drwer that should be there, then dosdrivers and double click on pc0
after that whenever you put a msdos formatted disk into your internal driver 2 disk icons will come up, one with a ? on it and the other is the one you use. you can format and copy files as if it were a normal pc drive.
you can either split, or compress files larger than 720k or use a null modem cable. that is also pretty simple.
