If the cable modem uses an ethernet RJ45
connection, then I don't see why it would not
work.  The main thing is getting a TCP/IP stack
configured for your particular connection.

I forgot to inquire about your setup.
What do you currently have?  This will
determine what network adapter to get.
If you have OS3.9 or even 3.5, it will have
the necessary software on the CD to get started.
