I am getting a 3000T very soon 
but was wondering on the ROMS, is the Kickstart the same as the regular A3000? I know the one in the $K Tower and esktop are difefrent but not sure on the 3000

IIRC, there were at least two different rom sets (different pinouts) for the desktop 3000. Early 3000s had a rom-tower (another daughterboard) with, I think, 4 rom sockets. Later MBs, perhaps the most common version, used a different style of rom. I have no idea how the 3000 tower fit into this evolution.
