There was this very cool video/demo that would run on a stock A500 and my PC friends just could not believe it or duplicate the performance at the time.
IIRC, there was a sphere inside a glass shere sitting on a checker-board plain. There was a white, blue and red jet doing laps around the glass sphere. As the jet circled the sphere, its reflection on both spheres and shadow on the plain were as smooth as the the jet's own motion. The smooth rendering was very realistic for the time.
It was one of the things I used (among other things) to show the Amiga's prowess for years. Maybe I can still find it.
EDIT: found it! The file is called AmigaFight on my HD, I guess that's the original name.
