I'm probably biased, but, I think the Amiga is toward the sane end of the scale.  The OS is extremely flexible and adaptable, we have the Aminet resource, and there are still (relatively) many expansions and peripherals available.  I can still happily use mine for nearly everything.

Some comparisons:

G3 with MacOS9: abandoned, browser choices much worse than Amiga.
Mac 68k w/OS7.5.5: there are resources and I still enjoy these.
Apple II: there are people and resources, but the OS is p-r-i-m-i-t-i-v-e.
X86 - pre-windows: I'm not aware of any devotion, I keep a couple for nostalgia.
Hp 80 series: cool on many levels, almost no current uses.
PCjr: some one may want it some day, grin.
Osborne 1: cool but little software.
Atari - 8bit: see Apple II, but fewer resources.
C128: like Atari & AII, but I have no excitement for it.
Timex/Sinclair ZX81: lol!

Some comparisons:

G3 with MacOS9: abandoned, browser choices much worse than Amiga. Not bad.
Mac 68k w/OS7.5.5: there are resources and I still enjoy these.  Somewhat fast and usable.
Apple II: there are people and resources, but the OS is p-r-i-m-i-t-i-v-e.
X86 - pre-windows: I'm not aware of any devotion, I keep a couple for nostalgia.  Oddly,still fun.
Hp 80 series: cool on many levels, almost no current uses.
PCjr: some one may want it some day, grin.
Osborne 1: cool but little software.
Atari - 8bit: see Apple II, but fewer resources.
C128: like Atari & A2, but I have no excitement for it.
Timex/Sinclair ZX81: lol!

@ AmiGR

I suppose it's a matter of opinion.  My G3 has IE 5.5 and Netscape (whatever the last compatible version was).  Very often images won't dispay, sites stop loading and insist that I upgrade the browser.  Both browsers seem to just give up at any provication.  Maybe I need to learn to setup this software better.

On the otherhand, those same sites usually load very well in iBrowse 2.4.  I probably don't frequent the most demanding sites (I use the net as an encyclopedia, not much for entertainment), but, except for those that rely heavily on the latest flash, I've never seen iBrowse just give up.
I think Amigans are lucky to have the browsers we do have.

How does Mozilla compare to IE and Netscape?

I haven't tried iCab, but I will. Now that I have high speed, I will look at DLing this and other apps that were too big before.
