Everyone probably knows already, but, it seems that OpenOffice (not Word) is a much better compliment to Amiga word processors. Documents saved in Final Writer as RTF open perfectly in OpenOffice. I haven't tried it yet, but the document could probably next be saved in a Word format (if that must happen).
I'm just beginning to use OpenOffice and it appears that for my purposes, it can completely replace M$ Office. OpenOffice 'feels' like it is designed to be compatible with everything, to assist translating formats.
I don't have much experience with it yet, but I'm impressed so far.
