Modern monitors for vintage Amigas
« on: October 01, 2007, 05:28:52 PM »
I've been watching the threads related to this topic for a long time but still feel that I missed the definitive answers during one of my trips.

Is anyone in the USA using a modern monitor (LCD, CRT, etc) that syncs down to 15KHz and interfaces through analog RGB?  SCART interfaces are not available in the States, AFAIK, so no need to list monitors that rely on those.  I need manufacturers and model numbers, where you found it would be nice too.

As someone else said in another thread, FF/SDs are very difficult to find and the quality of the screen seems to very from great to "not worht the effort".

Thanks guys.

@ pan1K

Let us know what quality you get.

@ Arkanoid

I have mostly ECS machines. I'm simply bracing for the future and I have more Amigas than monitors.

Video quality is very important to me.  Your assessment agrees with others I've seen, why bother connecting an Amiga to an LCD if there is any quality problems.
