That sort rings a bell, I think that Softwood (the makers of Final Writer, Final Data, etc) had a early attempt at a database program.  It was on a cover disk and I think it had a background like yellow parchment.  Can't remember the name of it, it did say Softwood though.

It seems that it was on the coverdisk because they abandoned it in favor of Final Data.

To what use are you putting this database app?  The amiga has a few good programs but, the nature of the data determines what program works best.

Final Data is excellent for flat files (record collections, adresses, etc).  Some of the freebies on Aminet are descent, too.

If you are using your Amiga like a PDA, Digita's Organizer is good.  Spitfire (on Aminet) is excellent.  It was made to interface an Amiga to older Palms with RS-232 ports.
