You could swap the keyboards to get a complete unit. My A570 is sensitive where it connects to the A500. Try cleaning the contacts with isopropyl and a toothbrush.
The sysytem has to be powered 'on' in sequence, first the A570, then the A500.
If you have ambitions to expand, the A570 doesn't like accelerators (timing issues, I think). I run with OS 2.1, fast ram (a Supra 500RX), and SCSI-TV.
If you can make bootable CDs elsewhere, it's not bad without a hard drive.
