Re: A1200 PSU Question

Hello,

Checking with the A1200 schematics, I make the pinout as follows:

Looking at the connector,

+---v---+
3 . . .4
. . 5 . .
1 . . .2
+-------+

1: +5V
2: Shield
3: +12v
4: Ground
5: -12V

I advise you to buzz your lead out.

On my power lead I connected the coloured wires as follows:

A1200 Lead    PC PSU
Black               Black  (0VL)
Red                  Red     (+5V)
Brown             Yellow (+12V)
White              Blue     (-12V)

Commodore never seemed to have a common Colour code for their PSUs so beware.
I left the shield un-connected.

Oh the -12V is used for the Audio and RS232/Serial port.
