Is Troika AMY 05 a hoax?

Too many people get worked up over new "hardware".  Would it be nice?  yes.  But over the past x amount of years we've had how many companies buy Amiga, go bankrupt, promise x and deliver nothing?  Best thing to do is read about whatever comes out and treat it as vapour until you have proof.  Why would a legitimate company give a "progress report" about a "progress report" ?  Just sit back and enjoy classic computing at its finest.  If anything worthwhile shows up with tangible proof then lets have a look/see    Keeps you from being disappointed.

this thread reminds me of that PPC mobo that was sold for $19.99 somewhere.. dude said he was making a PPC mobo (or solution) for the Amiga and it would run AOS4 then said he gave up for whatever reason.. I forget where I read this, its been a while.

I'm not saying Troika is a hoax but again, I'm not holding my breath for any new mobo until it is demo'd, with the bugs worked out and a due date that isnt 'when its done'.
