I edited the language in this one.. my purpose here was to get the scammer mad and boy did I do that. This happened a while back, just forgot about posting it..
Long story short. I had a Playstation 2 drive for a version 5-7 playstation..well I bought a version 9 because it was cheap (used) so I was stuck with a brand new drive (worth $25)..so I posted it on USENET to sell it.
First are the emails..then the YIM chat..
The Yahoo instant message chat is without usernames edited. I'm bartonekdragracing, scammer is dgentleguy. I really wasnt in the mood to mess with a scammer so I replied with a Nigerian address in my email for him to send his check there as a hint that I knew what was going on.......so here we go....first the emails... remember..take note of what he says in emails and how he screws up in IM during chat contradicting what he said in emails and also what he just typed in IM... LOLZ
