A4000D & IDE CDROM install

How easy is it to install?  Can I get a 50x IDE cdrom plug it in and it will work? or do I need Asim cdfs ?

EzDine: U talkin bout that steal of a deal A4000D you bought on ebay? :)

I believe mine only has 3.0 ROMS and only 3.1 WB would be a guess.. I may or may not have 3.5 or 3.9 here I'd have to dig in my boxes. (bought a house, boxed everything I didnt need).

So if I dont have 3.5 or 3.9 only 3.1 (?) then I need IDEFix97 and atapi.device, correct?

Michael_D /all: thanks for the replies..  I'll also remember about that short cd drive thing.. I have a few laying around so maybe I'll get lucky and have one.
