It irks me when someone tries to charge for Paypal to cover fees.. against Ebay policy.. I'll make sure I inform 'em of that. :pissed:

weirdami: you must not know too much about ebay.  It is AGAINST their policy..

I've already reported the post to Ebay.

Here's a link for reading..

I dont like Paypal charges either, but I accept them because of the convenience it provides.    I just dont think its cool to do that to the buyer.

Acill: what I did to avoid a issue like that was to create a seperate bank account strictly for Paypal money, as soon as someone buys something I transfer the cash to my paypal account...once its there, I move it into my personal account.. so my paypal bank account account only has maybe $1-$10 max in it, just enough to keep it open. :)  So if Paypal goes into my account to pull money out, there will be none.. so far I have not had *any* problems with scams or anything.

Looks like the bidder didnt like me telling them it was illegal... so they used my name on there (Alex Bartonek) to let all ebayers know its my fault Paypal is not allowed. LOL!

Oh well, not like I care.  I dont pass off any extra BS charges to my winning bidders.

Jope: LOL.. I wouldnt say that I havent experienced a negative balance.  I just keep almost nothing in there just in case.   If Paypal were to take $200 from my acct and I only had $10 or $20, my bank would cancel that withdrawl and they would get nothing.  It hasnt come down to that though..I havent been burned *yet*.
