No, payback is the fact that your Gateway server is worth 50 cents and the last Amigas ever made which are twice as old and cost about the same (A4000D/T) are worth $1000.00 upwards.
Tch! Some of these big companies are more stupid than pond life. Gateway could have had huge glory from 98 - Now for very little cost. They were probably too scared of M$ before M$ got cowed by Linux and the Europian Union.
It reminds me a little of IBM now. They wilfully lost their last general purpose computing platform customer for the PPC. Linux developer systems are two a penny. Imagine the interest they could generate for a PPC platform by associating with the Amiga name. It still has A LOT of power even to this day! :-)
