I'm lazy and had Analogic do mine.
If someone went to the trouble of soldering an AA case in - I would use AA's. They're cheap, they should last 5 years and are less likely to leak if high quality.
Since when was an A4000 M/B pretty? :roll:
I think I am right in saying that you cannot use rechargables at all.
