Put it back in your A1200 and test it for the guy. He is obviously a "Newbie" and won't know how to troubleshoot it if it does not fire up on first try.
Just a suggestion, ignore it if you want.

Took all the bits out of it and gave it away at a car boot sale many years ago.. Think I also have a blizzard vision graphics card hanging around somewhere.
As for what its worth, I have no idea.. As I can't test it anymore I guess I can't say it works for definate..
Any users in the Huddersfield area want to borrow it and try it out?
