Best controllers in CD32
« on: August 04, 2009, 01:39:49 PM »
Hello,
Yesterday I played two games in CD32 using Competition pro joystick instead of the CD32 pad. The games were Leander (wich I played a lot with pad) and Lionheart (which has a difficult interface). I must say that it was the first time I used a competition pro (a joystick). I have found that in Leander it was very difficult for me to jump at the exactly pace and lost too much lives trying. In Lionheart the joystick didn't respond what I wanted to do and the results were the same.
Because of that I want to know what controls fit better with the CD32 having in mind that I can use joypads too. What do you use?
Personally I feel confortable using keyboard to play games. A friend of mine wich know a lot of electronics, tell me that he made an interface to connect a PC keyboard to an Amiga. Could this damage the CD32? Anyone tried that?

Thank you and regards.:)

Thank you for the answer.
I've just bought a Competition pro CD32 joypad. I hope to have it in two weeks. I wonder what is the difference between the "Competitione pro CD32" and the "Honey bee CD32"; they look the same.
Maybe I will try with the keyboard too, but I haven't one and the adaptor doesn't inspire me confidence (I don't wan to damage something in my beloved CD32).

Regards.
