AmigaOne X1000 Case - Can you buy it?
« on: October 22, 2010, 03:40:03 PM »
Hi all

I was wondering, is it possibile to by the AmigaOne X1000 case seperatley? I need a new case for my PC and would like to house it in this one :)

Much like the AmigaOne mouse and keyboard are sold by AmigaKit, it would be good if they sold this too. At a good price though, I wouldnt pay more than 40 or 50 quid for it, maybe a bit more if the front is all brushed metal.
==================
Amiga 4000/040 25Mhz - 18MB Ram-HDD-CDRW- Picasso 2 2MB GFX OS3.9
Amiga 2000/030 25Mhz - 10MB Ram - GVP HC+8 with HDD and CDROM OS3.1 and a DKB MEGAChip
Amiga 1200/030 50Mhz - 18MB Ram - CF>IDE OS3.1 Squirrel SCSI
A500+ 000/7Mhz - 4MB Ram GVP HD+ SCSI w/40MB HDD (WOW!!)
Plus a "few" more ;) hehe

danwood, the case is engraved in real life now (not just photoshop).  There was one with a boing ball on display at the AmigaZoom event in Switzerland.  It looks just like the mockup, except the AmigaOne X1000 logo looks less sticky-onny than it did in the photoshop graphic.

Hmmm, I might just wait until they sell them :P Its the Boing Ball bit I like the best, looks really cool :)
