Yes,
> Horizontal scan range 30 kHz to 83 kHz (automatic)
> Vertical scan range 56 Hz to 76 Hz (automatic)
Odd, but in a nice way!

To my big astonishment I could today get my BenQ FFP222Wa to show picture at even 320x200@60 Hz. It's specced as 30 - 82 kHz, 56 - 76 Hz. Actually it does as low as 44 Hz but until today I never got it to show a pic under 320x400. Perhaps the latest NVidia drivers made it now possible to show 320x256, 320x240 and 320x200, too. So now it did show bearable picture at 15 kHz.

Weird that DoublePAL doesn't work. Do you have VGAOnly in Devs:Monitors? There are a few screenmode editing utils on Aminet - you could probably get it working by tweaking it with one of those.

Probably just because of missing VGAOnly - DblPal is so low and DblNtsc a little bit higher but probably just enough to work. Wasn't DblPal just a little over 28 kHz?
...check - DBLPAL 27.50 kHz 48 Hz with VGAOnly: 29.45 kHz 50 Hz
