UWSCSI would be Ultra Wide SCSI (if I'm not mistaken) with a theoretical maximum transfer rate of .40 megabytes per second.
At best it does on CSPPC about 30 MB/s raw read or a little over and real read/write operations about 20-25 MB/s. Pretty beneficial when doing backups with big drives. On small scattered files the copy speed can yet stay below 10 MB/s.
