Given the (very small) performance increase compared to the effort required, I'd say it depends on how bored you are. Though I didn't know the tidbit about WHDloads quit button.

It's the sole bonus; old games which do not work with 020 may also not work with 010.

If the program happens to do this and use this feature:
 ....68010 has loop mode what can considered a mini instruction cache, which accelerates loops that consist of only 2 instructions...
You get that performance increase.
