picasso II probs on bootup

 The screen tells me intuition is attempting to adjust the screen mode or some such thing and asks me to close all windows etc, but I can't easily locate the cancel or okay buttons because of the scrambled screen.

Some early starting program is trying to open its own screen before Workbench is loaded. Check your startup-sequence and/or user-startup, perhaps also WBstartup. Which RTG program do you have, CGX 3/4 or P96? Don't say you have the original Picasso software...

You can put temporarily for the first line of startup-sequence so you can see where the script stops and kicks that intuition message on the screen.
