Amiga 1200 onboard FPU

It seems Commodore had great difficulty nailing down the specs of the Amiga 1200. Eg the schematics show alternative 16-bit ROM and onboard flashrom circuits. Anyway, there is also an onboard 68881 FPU circuit and unlike the others, this is actually present on the motherboard layout. Has someone tried installing an FPU here? Just curious :)

Yea, maybe the money they spent on patch work on the boards meant they couldn't afford that socket :lol:
