Wow, this Frotz engine is really irritating. I couldn't find the parameters to specify font size and colors. There's a menu to set these parameters inside Frotz itself but saving them doesn't work. Do you know what those parameters are?
There are other Z-Machine players for Zork too. I can't rember the names and how to set them up, but it wasn't particulary difficult. I haven't played Zork at all, but I used to fire up Zork II once in a while. Has been some years since now.
The only Infocom game I ever completed was The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Defeating the bugblatter beast of Traal by engraving your own name in the tombstone was one of my favorite puzzles. Oh and I hated the door: "I am a very busy door. Unless you can show me a clear sign of your intelligence, leave me alone" (or something like it).
