While we are all dissing Apple (except for bloodline) what's up with the magic trackpad? Never tried one. Gimmick or innovative?
Gimmick. The mouse speed has to be set slower than on the regular moust to operate it. It is not suited to replace the mouse any better than a regular trackpad though, so you wouldn´t want to go without one.
As for the "holy grail" statement: Try computing where 4x*x*x+2x-3 touches the x-axis on an iPad. Then try on a
REAL computer. Notice how many different options you have on the latter.
