That being said, I look at every single one of these auctions and I would definitely pay this kind of money for an Amiga 1000 with the original Boing Ball logo - which was the badge the Amiga 1000 was being sold with before Commodore purchase the rights to the Amiga.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I thought the A1000, hence the badges were produced by Commodore only after acquiring the rights (Sanyo in Japan was the contract manufacturer).
Back around '97 I got a few of those boing ball badges from Dale Larson's Intangible Assets Manufacturing. It was
mentioned at the time that Commodore changed their mind and dumped the boing ball in favor of the rainbow checkmark, leaving boxes of unused boing ball badges up for grabs.
