We decided that there is no passion in the IT industry anymore.
Agreed. I've seen office space, and I own a copy of the Death Bed Vigil. The contrast is night and day. I felt the passion at one point, it's what got me into computer science, but with the death of Amiga, I almost never made it out. With my degree I managed to get a job programming fairly lame apps. Nothing exciting at all. I never went into comp sci to program lame-ass time tracking software using PowerBuilder/SyBase!!  ugh! Yeah, by the time I was laid off, I was burned out and was actually happy to be let go. Now I'm burned out of being laid off and could use the money I used to make... It sucks working just for the money though.

What would be your ideal job?!?
