Yeah, I kind of see that...but it kind of throws you for a loop at first when you see a "new face" posting and wonder who the new user is until you figure out it's somebody who has been around for ages. I don't mind Franko's approach, where he alters his avatar but keeps part of it the same (the face). However, totally changing one's avatar every couple of weeks kinds of defeats the whole intention of avatars I would think. Oh well, not a big deal. I guess I just have to get used to it!
I would think that you can put something funny up, but after a while people will get sick of it, so you replace it with a fresher funny pic.
It might also signal time to start afresh or a change in attitude.
